Miniature, pendant species from Sulawesi.
There is not much information out there on this species or on Section Epicranthes in general, but these have grown very well for me in intermediate to warm conditions. I start them out potted in fine bark to get them established, but they will ultimately do best mounted to hang pendent like their natural growth habit. I would recommend mounted these as they are ready.
These are near bloom size seedlings from a flask that I imported last year. They have been out of flask since summer 2019. Pictured is one of the available plants that is a good representation of the lot. Also pictured is one of my holdback plants showing mounted growth. It is currently initiating its first spike.
