Species from Ecuador and Colombia
Rare bromeliad from the wet, mid-high altitudes of South America.
Available plants are propagated pups from pictured plants (and others). These plants rarely grow many roots as they perform moisture and nutrient uptake through their tank leaves, and roots are used mainly for stabilization. Most of these pups have little to no roots. They should simply be mounted, placed in an empty net pot, or the base carefully placed into orchid bark to a shallow depth.
